Interests: I used to be a Christian and was really into Christian apologetics for about 8 years and when that didn't work out for me, I realized I still had a place helping other people on that dividing line to sort out their own issues. That's not for everyone obviously, but I'm writing about what I know. I'm sure there are lots of former Scientologists, former Mormons, former Muslims, and former Hindus that dedicate their free time in a similar manner because they care. And I do. So that's what I do. It's a subjective personal emphasis that hopefully contributes and edifies a more eclectic online community. Sometimes I do feel a little crazy knowing way too much about something I really don't care that much directly about. *shrug* But I want to make better arguments than everyone else, so that's what I put my mind through. And lots of hot issues in our culture turn on religion so there seems to be a "normal" place for it. If that's helpful, great, and if not, I understand.
